A world-first for football and gaming.

On 18th May 2006 Kiyan Prince, a promising footballer at QPR’s academy, lost his life when he was stabbed while breaking up a fight outside his school in West London. His story is one of enormous potential tragically taken away. His father, Dr Mark Prince OBE, founded the Kiyan Prince Foundation in his son’s name to help young people reach their own potential and carve their own stories.

Exactly 15 years on from his death, ENGINE Creative teamed up with Mark and the Foundation to inspire young people and show them the top footballer Kiyan would have become in a trailblazing campaign for football, gaming and sponsorship.

A photoreal likeness of the man and the player that Kiyan would’ve become was developed by Framestore and on the anniversary of his death, he was re-signed by his old club QPR and was incorporated into EA Sports’ FIFA 21 as an actual playable player - a world first - on the anniversary of his death.

Adidas signed up to be Kiyan’s boot sponsor, JD Sports gave up their billboards across London and Topps International created a one of a kind special Match Attax card of Kiyan - all to raise funds and awareness for the charity.
